Thanks Clebert for the reply.  I tried giving run -b 0.0.0.0 -c messagin-node0 and it worked.  I was confused if that was the correct way of doing it.  But, now that you have told me I will go ahead.  

By the way, I didn't know that we can give the IP address/DNS; thanks for letting me know and helping me out.
