[jboss-user] [Beginners Corner] - Portal and EJB

An obvious Newbie question...

We are going to develop an "appliance-like" product, using JBoss Portal. Do we need to deploy JBoss EJB container in order to support the Portal? At this point, we don't appear to need EJBs to support our business apps.
