[jboss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - propagating updates to process variables

In jBPM/ jPDL is it possible to update process variables and propagate the change to currently open tasks? For example in the course of an order process some details of the order may change that can cause already assigned task instances to be cancelled or changed.

I was wondering whether superstates can help here.
