Just tried 2.0.1GA
If eclipse is not started with a jdk(default under windows) this error is shown. 
An internal error occurred during: "Build Archive Node".

The solution is to use an jdk when starting eclipse.  Can the error messages tweaked to something obvious? E.g. Char set not found, please try to start eclipse with an JDK
