thanks Peter. Maybe not...I am using MySQL from an installation of InstantRails -- and perhaps I am wrong about that. If I set up a new username/password for localhost in mysql, then the only place I need to specify that in this app would be mysql-ds.xml, yes? I will try that in a few hours when I get back to that system, on the road here right this moment. Thank you so much.
