M.allam,

Please post the entire console logs (starting from the run.bat command echo statements). Also do this - In %JBOSS_HOME%\server\default\lib folder, there's a jboss-common-jdbc-wrapper.jar. Open this jar file and see what folder is present under org\jboss\resource\adapter\jdbc. Inside this, is the sub-folder named jdk5 or is it named jdk6?
Just want to make sure that you have downloaded the correct version of JBoss for JDK5.

Alternately, you can use set JAVA_HOME to point to JDK6 and start JBoss. See if that works fine.

While posting the logs or xml content or code, remember to wrap it in a code block using the Code button in the message editor window and please hit the Preview button to make sure your post is correctly formatted
