After little investigation:

If I have page like:

  | ...
  | ...
  | <ui:composition>
  | ..
  | 
  | ..
  | </ui:compositionui>
  | ...
  | ...

VPE works.

IF:

  | ...
  | ...
  | <ui:composition  template="/templates/main.xhtml">
  | ..
  | 
  | ..
  | </ui:compositionui>
  | ...
  | ...

VPE doesn't works.
