The closest I've seen to support for Eclipse on Solaris (and thus JBoss Tools on Eclipse on Solaris) is this:

http://code.google.com/p/solipse/ (Solaris x86 64 bit)
http://friends.eclipse.org/downloads/eclipse/downloads/drops/M20090127-1710 (Solaris 10 on SPARC/GTK 2)

Once you have Eclipse running, you can install the latest Tools from the update site:

http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/development/
