You did not post the full console log. Do you see an entry like this:
15:30:17,239 INFO [Http11Protocol] Starting Coyote HTTP/1.1 on http-127.0.0.1-8080
For installing JBoss AS, did you do anything other than unzip the zip file?
When you say that nothing appears, if the browser window actually blank, or are you getting a 404 (or some other) error?
