First off, the wiki doc has been replaced by http://www.jboss.org/tools/download/installation.

Secondly, which JVM are you using? 1.4.2? 5.0? 6.0? Which vendor? 

Thirdly, given there are numerous ways to install JBoss Tools, and at least 4 versions you could have installed, can you specify which version you installed, and from what update site or zip?
