For JBoss Web 2.1 for Linux, download the bintar file from http://www.jboss.org/jbossweb/downloads/jboss-web/?action=a&windowstate=maximized, unpack it anywhere (I have mine at /opt/jboss/jboss-web-2.1.2-GA), open a terminal in the bin directory and run "./start.sh"
