I'm not sure I understand.  If I fix JBREM-1107 and "idleTimeout" is configured appropriately, wouldn't that solve the problem?

There was some discussion, if I remember correctly, about making Remoting 3 aware of transactions, though.  I'm not sure about the current status of that idea.  I'll ask David Lloyd.
