[jboss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - Retrieveing a var when the class changed

Hi,
I'm storing a variable in my process instance. I discovered that if I change a class which is used in this var, jBPM is unable to retrieve the process instance so I can't use the old process instances.
Is there a way to make possible to change the classes, and the workflow would be able to retrieve the old ones? (I am especially thinking about new versions of my program)
