Yes it can be done. The easiest way to explain it to you is to tell you to download the source for JBoss in Action (http://www.manning.com/jamae) and to try the 04 target in the ch15 directory. That target properly set up two JBoss AS instances as services, using the Binding Service to specify different ports for each instance.
