The source code of the JBoss BIRT integration is placed on  https://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbosstools/workspace/snjeza/JBossBirtIntegration/ https://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbosstools/workspace/snjeza/JBossBirtIntegration/
It is a maven project that creates jboss-birt-servlet.jar and jboss-seam-birt.jar.
Regarding the issue you reffer to, please open a jira.
