It is not hung, it is up and running waiting for requests. That last line is the one that indicates that the staup has completed. You will not see anything else in the command prompt window unless certain types of requests come in, or certain apps output more logging.

At this time you should open a browser and go to  http://localhost:8080 http://localhost:8080

By the way, pick up the free chapter 1 for JBoss in Action ( http://www.manning.com/jamae http://www.manning.com/jamae) - it will give a brief intro to get you started.
