You don't write much about how you deploy this but assuming you are deploying this to the server or running in testng you either:

A) Actually have two components with the same name

or

B) Stepped upon  https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBSEAM-3996 https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBSEAM-3996 which is a regression in Seam 2.1.2 (If I remember correctly),  it is now fixed in later releases and you can see the linked to issues for which version of EAP that has the bug fixed.
