HuiSheng, I think it could be quite good to remove these exception from EnvironmentBinding (include it in 4.4), seems like not to risky to do so but at least we could gain possibility to use jruby as scripting language and hopefully we could get some more feedback before working on the EL stuff as you mentioned.
What do you think?
