Because jBPM 4 could not save history variable, when a process instance end, the relative process variable of this process instance will be delete from Database. So do not worry about jbpm4_variable.

JBPM4_LOB is used to store both process variable and the resource of deployment, e.g. the XML content of process definition, the PNG image file of process definition. If you delete them, some error may occur.
