my users are stored in an OpenLDAP Directory. Users can register them self but they have to validate their email first. After that, an admin has to accept the registration or can decline it (JBoss Workflow without modification).

As long their registration is not accepted, the users are not in the LDAP. When an admin accepts the registration the user is created in the LDAP.

As long as the users has not validated his registration or even he is not accepted or declined, his data is lost after restarting the server.

Where does JBoss stores the data as long the user is not in the LDAP?
