Can you explain "and started it" in your >> I have installed jbpm5.1 by "ant install.demo" and started it << 
Did you use "ant start.demo" task or just manually started the jboss AS instance? Have you checked any server logs to see if there are any prior exceptions? If you want your problems solved you should really try to provide more info on the issues as that should give a much faster turn-around  :)
