As the JIRA-Issue  https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-1158 https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-1158 claims there exists a workaround using quartz.
How does this workaround exactly look like?

What dependecies do I need (using a maven project) and what other configuration is necessary?

(Using the @Schedule Annotation would be nice, but if the timer works only programmatically via TimerService that would be ok)
