Change your MDB to explicitly mention the messaging type (either via annotation or via ejb-jar.xml):

@MessageDriven(messageListenerInterface=MessageListener.class)
public final class OverrideMDB extends DefaultMDB
    implements MessageListener, HasBeenInstrumented
