hi chris,

        no.i have not added the variables like that and i dont have a property called "variables"  :( .i've attached the snapshots for properties of tasks, "employee evaluation" and "hr evaluation".all that i hav changed in the .bpmn file is the actorid from mary to #{hr} and i hav added the line params.put("hr","mary"); in the file ProcessTest.java.

... and i dont have any of the files seen in the snapshot namely,

ProcessOrder.ftl, SampleHumanTaskFormV, com.sample.bpmn.samp, SampleApprovalTask.ftl etc
