One more info....

I try to utilize this connection in my application from Spring applicationContext file as below

+*4. applicationContextr.xml*+

     <bean id="dataSource" class="org.springframework.jndi.JndiObjectFactoryBean">
         <property name="jndiName" value="java:comp/env/my_ds"/>  
    </bean>
