I have read in the internet https://community.jboss.org/docs/DOC-12237 https://community.jboss.org/wiki/SetUpAFirebirdDatasource
it does not work to use the standard firebird-ds.xml simply to replace the rarname
 <rar-name>firebirdsql.rar</rar-name>
to <rar-name>jaybird.rar</rar-name>
I use now this firebird-dx.xml. It is a solution for JBoss 4, also valid for version 6?

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<datasources>

  <local-tx-datasource>
    <jndi-name>TitanDS</jndi-name>
    <connection-url>jdbc:firebirdsql:localhost/3050:titan</connection-url>
    <driver-class>org.firebirdsql.jdbc.FBDriver</driver-class>
    <user-name>SYSDBA</user-name>
    <password>masterkey</password>
    <min-pool-size>5</min-pool-size>
    <max-pool-size>20</max-pool-size>
      <track-statements></track-statements>
      <!-- corresponding type-mapping in the standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml (optional) -->
      <metadata>
         <type-mapping>Firebird</type-mapping>
      </metadata>

    </local-tx-datasource>
</datasources>

This does deploy. What I can't tell is, if the data acces works.
I simple example have to test this would help me.
