I have an application that I want to use jBPM with.  All of my security is already stored in Oracle.  In other BPM systems I have written plugins to implement interfaces, and then the security in all controlled by SQL queries against my data model.

We are trying a Proof of Concept with jBPM 5 to ensure we can still maintain the security credential in the database.  I have found some different approaches in the forums, but its unclear which is the best for jBPM 5.X.

Can someone please point me to any documentation or examples on how to accomplish authentication of users with an external database, such as Oracle.  Not LDAP. :)

Thank you.
