I wanted to identify whether a Business Process being run has any manual Task's or not?

In that regards I wanted to know if a Business Process had  a Manual Task then a Record would be created in Task Table. Now after the Business Process with this Manual Task is completed successfully would this record still exist in the Task record, with the appropriate status?

Regards,
Chetan
