So I figured out the installer problem and I am test driving RC1. Looks really nice! A lot snappier than the beta5. 

However, non-interrupting start events don't seem to be supported by designer yet, as there is no option to set (actually the option was there in Beta 5 but wasn't changeable). Hope that will still be included in the official final release  :) 

Another question I have would be about the repository management. What I would like to do, is set up a repository outside of the app, so that I can easily switch to the never version of jbpm without loosing my processes. I think in Beta 5 I could create my own repository, the option seems to be gone in RC1.
