The remote interfaces are being added to the kie-wb and some of the details can be found  https://github.com/mrietveld/droolsjbpm-integration/wiki here, that is mainly for execution but there is REST api for authoring as well, unfortunately I don't know if that was already documented anywhere, you could try to post question on guvnor's forum/mailing list.
