The Bachelor Season 17 Episode 1 The Bachelor is an original one hour prime-time reality television series that gives one man and 25 women the unique opportunity to find true love in a most exciting and adventurous way. The Bachelor will get to know the 25 women in a series of fun, exciting and exotic dates that will elicit real and raw emotions. Along the way he must follow a gradual process of elimination, as his initial 25 bachelorettes are narrowed down week by week by presenting them with a single, red rose. In the end, he will ultimately decide on the one woman who captures his heart.

Casting began during the airing of the sixteenth season of the show. Tim Tebow, the then-quarterback of Denver Broncos was approached but never signed an agreement.[2] Another potential candidate was Lamar Hurd, a sportscaster from Portland, Oregon, who was vying to become the first African-American Bachelor.[3] Several speculated candidates included The Bachelorette season 6 winner Roberto Martinez, Lowe's fellow The Bachelorette castmate Arie Luyendyk, Jr. (who was the runner-up of his season) and eleven-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte.[4] Luyendyk dropped out to focus on his racing career. Martinez and Lochte also declined. The Bachelor: Season 16 is the 16th season of ABC reality television series The Bachelor. The season premiered on January 2, 2012. This show features a previous contestant from The Bachelorette, a winemaker and owner of Envolve wines, from Sonoma, California, Ben Flajnik, who finished runner-up in the seventh season of that show. This season returns with 25 women featured in the competition, excluding a senior citizen..The time is almost ripe to take another trip to Bachelor Nation with the Texan stud muffin known as Sean Lowe! Sean stole our hearts during his tenure on The Bachelorette, and we have no doubt that ABC has picked a great crop of single ladies for him to choose from — including brunette bombshell Tierra Ann LiCausi!

Tierra has some some time in California (but now lives in Colorado), so as you might expect she comes with an amazing tan and small lap dog named Reese. We love her already. Tierra's more than ready to find Mr. Right, and even told ABC that if she could have lunch with one person in the world it would be her soul-mate. Aww!

Sounds like Tierra is a romantic at heart, but she has yet to find someone who she can "share that with." We have a feeling Sean won't be able to resist this lovely lady — especially since they both come from big, loving families (Tierra's parents have been married for 30 years).The Season 17 Bachelor hails from the town of Dallas — you may have heard of it — and has a deep pride for his roots. You might even say he’s a great cheerleader for the Texan ways... or at least that he celebrates those who are cheerleaders. You see, Sean is pretty much everyone’s dream man, including the 26 ladies who are showing up to tie him up the knot with the hunky blond bachelor. Oh yeah, and the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders — yeah, that’s plural — he has dated.

But although Sean lives and breathes the Dallas life, that’s not actually where he’s from originally. You know, like origin-ally — where he was born, people. Sean hails from the town of Irving, Texas, a suburb which is about 20 minutes outside of Dallas proper. And proper is just what he is. A proper studly hot hott uh oh here we go again...
