Could it be the case I may have dumped the database with some data in it by accident?

Also, I have posted a more complete and standalone version of JBPM in a web app here:  https://community.jboss.org/docs/DOC-48240 https://community.jboss.org/wiki/SimpleJBPM54InsideJBossAS711WebAppExample That example will also create the DB tables for you...
