No, I don't believe it is/was enabled for ESB.

I suggest you open a jira at  https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE with the kind of project you expect to be detected as an ESB project and we can look at it.
