Are these from JCIP.net?  Or have you written your own GuardedBy and  
Immutable in org.jgroups.xxx?

+1.  What else do you have in mind, in addition to the JCIP ones  
(Immutable, GuardedBy, ThreadSafe and NotThreadSafe)?
