What version of java are you using to do the install? unpack200 requires
Sun or Open JDK 5 or 6 - if you've got 1.4 on your path, and that's what
Eclipse is using, then that might explain the problem.
If not... I'll have to take a look. packed jars SHOULD install from a
zipped update site (it's packed features that often fail).
We might have to restrict that jar from being packed if it's one of the
few exceptions that can't *consistently* be unpacked due to one of the
many bugs in pack200 / unpack200 in Sun's JDK 5/6.
If you're using Sun JDK 6, can you try Open JDK 6 instead?
