Isaac,
If the problem occurs again, can you try to trigger a clean/full build on the project ? Maybe the problem you had yesterday was due to the project not being rebuilt after you added the JAXRS facet/nature.
On the otherside, when you start the workbench, some (but not necessary all) projects are rebuilt. In that case, the JAXRS metamodel would be built.
Let me know if you can reproduce the problem. Anyway, I'll also look at making sure the metamodel is always built when necessary.
