We could start the process now if you want. Steps are
1. announce we're about to release them
2. After a delay for feedback, remove the SNAPSHOT, commit, run a build 
(this will deploy to staging), tag
3. Immediatly upversion and re-add SNAPSHOT
4. promote staging artifacts.
5. Announce it's done.
