The only reason I made the edit launch configuraiton action was because people constantly asked how to do it, and it was unclear.

The method used to be, double click on a server for it's editor to open. Then click a hyperlink from the editor to edit the launch configuration.

This was deemed too many steps and so I just made the action and shoved it in. 

I don't know what you mean by 1-1 relation.
