Robert Stryker commented on JBIDE-389:
--------------------------------------
A new packaging structure is being made which will allow for exploded deployment as well as a new and improved API and UI for packaging configurations. This should potentially be in 2.0 final. There is no beta to test with yet.

> For Web devolopers it would be really time-saving to be able to do "exploded deployment" of Web applications..
> Publishing to an exploded deployment should copy new CLASS/JSP/HTML/CSS files from your web project to a folder (called webprojectname.war) in the deploy folder of the chosen JBoss server instance..
> Then you would not have to redeploy the webapplication for every minor change (ex. editing text on a JSP or HTML page)...
> You schould also be able to make a complete redeployment of your web project where the server adapter would re-create the web application structure..
