The "tag" statusbar (the line that shows you the nested main elements - e.g. html, h:form, table, tr, td if you are in a TD inside a tr, inside a table and so on)
is only visible when doing visual editing, not when just editing source.

this should be available (as an option) when editing source too in my opinion.
