Max Andersen commented on JBIDE-1314:
-------------------------------------

1) It sucks that we have to install compat std c++ libraries (we upgraded to xulrunner to get away from that)

2) JBoss Tools should work on anything that it makes sense to work on (and here latest Fedora makes perfect sense)

3) We need to document this

> The visual editor fails to load with following error:
> An error has occurred. See error log for more details.
> /home/marshall/Apps/eclipse/builds/jbosstools-2.0.0.cr1-test/eclipse/plugins/org.mozilla.xulrunner.gtk.linux.x86_1.8.1.3-20070904/xulrunner/libjavaxpcomglue.so: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCPP_3.2' not found (required by /home/marshall/Apps/eclipse/builds/jbosstools-2.0.0.cr1-test/eclipse/plugins/org.mozilla.xulrunner.gtk.linux.x86_1.8.1.3-20070904/xulrunner/libjavaxpcomglue.so)
> Looks like the compiled version of xulrunner doesn't like the version of libstdc++/g++ that comes with F8 (4.1 instead of 3.2)
