Max Andersen updated RHDS-322:
------------------------------

Issue Type: Feature Request (was: Bug)
    Fix Version/s: 1.1

well it could probably be automatic, but it is already very JBoss specific and what to do in case of multiple ds.xml files, other appservers etc.

We tried in the beginning to put the ds.xml together with the WAR and EAR, but only in case of the EARs will jboss pick the ds.xml up; not for war and don't get me started with the differences between seam 1.2 test runner and seam 2.0 test runner....so we've tried to keep the way things are done consistent where possible instead of doing it N different ways....but that is something we need to get improved over time since before these things where just "adjusted" by ant or assuming you always have the files jar'ed up (which is what we try to avoid doing development to have better turnaround times)

> Create a Seam project, deploy it, then remove it from the jboss server in the servers view. Right click on the project and Run As -> Run on Server then the main project ear/war will only be added to the project. The datasource file is no longer there, therefore, when the war is deployed it will fail because it needs the datasource. If I right click on the server and go to Add and Remove Projects, only the main project shows up, the datasouce does not.
