Did you read the hibernate tools docs ? :)

I also noticed there is now an GenerateEntitiesAction in org.hibernate.eclipse.console and redundant plugin.properties ...I assume that is something that will be removed ?

How do you check if we have the proper url in the console configuration ? That is not doable in a reliable way afaik.

If we turn it around and let the seam generate entities dialog do it we do not need selection from DTP tree...at least not now.
This is to avoid the problem of not having matching console configurations.
