I think it is better to update this feature to be aware of other specific JBoss tools editors. Removing this feature may result in faces-config.xml, for instance, being opened with WTP rather than JBoss tools editor. When several editors by different providers are declared as 'default' for some content type, the logic of Eclipse for selecting one to use may be not agreeable.
