The visualContent view isn't visible from the VpeController class.
In order to rebuild (or not to rebuild) DOM when the visual part is getting visible, we need to know the previous state (visible, synced) of the visual part.
The synchronization is done in the VpeController.notifyChanged method. 
The VpeController class is visible from most of the VPE classes.
