It is all cool that we have the xpath mechanism to detect the default ports, but some users  might change this in ways we  can't account for upfront.

I suggest that we get a specific field for those port numbers we use that the user can *optionally* fill in to override any automatic setup.
These fields should be empty by default and AS would just use whatever we use now.
