Reproduced in last available JBoss Tools 3.0.0alpha1 build. Build date - 8 august.

EXECUTE: New > New Seam web project. 
ASSERT: New Seam Project wizard appears. 
EXECUTE: Press "Modify" button(near Configuration field). 
EXECUTE: Select Seam version 2.0 instead of Seam 1.2, press Ok.
EXECUTE: Input project name ("testseam" for example) 
EXECUTE: Press Next button few times until Seam Facets wizard appears. 
FAILURE: Package name for tests is not valid ( org.domain.null.session ) 

Comments:

If Seam project name inputed before Seam version selection - valid package names shown in Facets wizard.
