Rob Stryker commented on JBIDE-2652:
------------------------------------

When in the workspace, "" and "." are two values which had been grandfathered in much earlier to always mean "this project". So in all versions, "" and "." must retain those values for backwards compatibility.

This means that in a version 1.0 descriptor, using the workspace dialog and selecting the current project, "" is a proper response. This is preferable over /pinktowel because "" has no reference to the project name and is usable even when the same project is imported twice but named different things.

The second issue (blank field, filesystem) is about to have a fix committed.

> Last timeI edited this archive the destination folder was blank and set to relative to workspace...now it is some weird concrete path which I *never* set and when I generate it actually generates into this directory !?
> Im setting this as blocker since it happens to me constantly and it messes up users filesystem!
