1) I still do not understand why EL resolving has to return IResources

2) cool. About not being able to move that is probably because the EL implementation is mixing with path specifc behavior - why should it ?

3) Import/Export already exists for preferences stored in eclipse preferences in a workspace. I'm talking about being able to *share* settings and it is not a urgent matter for now.
