Igor Zhukov commented on JBIDE-2648:
------------------------------------

1) Double click make the preview as editing
2) If user press "Enter" button the cursor goes next line
3) Combination of Ctrl+Tab provides to loosing focus

... at the moment this suggestion was implemented because of the following reason: from user view multiple line text area looks much better then a single line text field. Why? Because initially Browser component is available and it cover multiple lines and to transform this multiple lines component to sinple line text field looks not so good as probably expected.
BUT specific of multiple line text area is that standart behaviour does not allow to use Enter or Tab to leave it. Theoretically it is possible to override this behaviour, but we will lose standard opportunity.

> Some simple improvements suggestions:
> 1) Allow users to type in their own text to preview (or at least try and grab the text used within the element we are styling from)
> 2) Show what the textual CSS styling result will be (on a seperate tab?)
> 3) Add a splitpane to allow adjustment of the rendered preview
> 4) If the quick edit is intended to be what most people would like to do most often then it should be the first tab or at least the tab it opens up on by default
